Qatar University Graduate Scholarships Requirement:

To be considered for the 2026 Qatar University Scholarships, candidates must satisfy the following:

Master’s Applicants

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher received with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8.
  • Students must satisfy additional college/program specific admission requirements.

PhD Applicants

  • A Master’s degree or higher received with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Standardized test scores (e.g. GRE, GMAT) are required for all PhD programs offered in English.
  • Applicants who have completed a professional master with a GPA of 3.0 or higher must satisfy additional college/program specific admission requirements.

Document Requirements for Qatar University Graduate Scholarships:

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

  • Application Form 
  • High school transcripts
  • Two Recommendation Letters.
  • Passport Photo Page
  • English proficiency certificate – TOEFL or IELTS (optional).
  • Standardized test scores (for PhD applicants).

Qatar University Graduate Scholarships Rewards:

  • Exemption from tuition fees
  • Exemption from textbook fees
  • Monthly living salary
  • Student housing (two students per room) including transportation to/from campus.
  • Annual round trip air fare ticket
  • Residence permit under QU sponsorship
  • The scholarship should be utilized starting from the semester in which the scholarship was awarded. If the student does not pass his/her first semester, the scholarship will be terminated and the student will be informed by QU email.
