Job Details:

  • This role involves prospecting for new clients, understanding their financial needs, and offering tailored banking solutions.
  • The Officer is responsible for driving the growth of the bank’s customer base and revenue by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and promoting financial products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies aligned with Mkobo’s overall growth objectives.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of Sales & Business Development Officers
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships to expand Mkobo’s customer base for EWA and Mkobo for Business products.
  • Develop sales funnels and processes to optimize lead generation and conversion.
  • Generate qualified leads.
  • Manage existing partnerships and drive increased utilization of Mkobo’s products among partner’s employees.

Job Requirement:

  • BA / BS Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • 0 – 2 years of experience in sales and/or business development.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth objectives.
  • Knowledge of Fintech and financial services industry and strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
