Job Details:

We are currently hiring Accounting Officers.

Job Requirement:

Essential(E) Desirable (D)

  • A first degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, economics or a business-related discipline.    E
  • Qualified (or student member at the final stage of qualification) with a recognised professional accounting body (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA).    E

Experience and technical knowledge    

Essential(E) Desirable (D)

  • Minimum of one (1) year of industry/or consulting experience working in an accounting/ finance-related position.     E
  • Knowledge of accounting fundamentals, concepts and conventions as well as bookkeeping principles.    E
  • Strong technical knowledge, understanding, application and interpretation of relevant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)    E
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel.    E
  • Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP.    E
  • Specific knowledge of key processes involved in any of the following:    E
  • –Accounts receivable management and revenue recognition
  • –Accounts payable management and cost accounting
  • –Treasury operations
  • –Accounts preparation and consolidation
  • Good understanding of treasury and other financial management-related concepts.    D
