Job Details:

  • We are scaling aggressively toward $1M+ in annual revenue, and we are looking for a financial professional who can bring structure, clarity, and control to our numbers.

The Opportunity:

  • This is not a basic bookkeeping role.
  • We are hiring an Accountant / Financial Controllerwho will take ownership of our financial systems, reporting, and profitability tracking. You will work directly with leadership to drive smarter decisions, protect margins, and build a scalable financial foundation.
  • If you understand job costing, service-based accounting, and cash flow management, this role puts you in a position to make a measurable impact.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • You will own the financial operation end-to-end:
  • Manage full-cycle accounting (A/R, A/P, reconciliations, payroll support)
  • Produce monthly financials (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Track job-level profitability across all projects
  • Integrate and manage QuickBooks Online + Housecall Pro data flow
  • Monitor cash flow, collections, and outstanding invoices

Build and maintain budgets and forecasts:

  • Identify cost leaks and improve overall margins
  • Support pricing decisions with real financial data
  • Coordinate with CPA on tax filings and compliance
  • Develop clean, scalable financial processes and reporting systems.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)
  • Experience with job costing and project-based accounting
  • Familiarity with Housecall Pro or similar FSM software (preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (reporting, analysis, dashboards).
