The merit-based scholarship is available to students enrolling at the Wigwe University in 2025.
The Wigwe University Scholarship will not only alleviate the financial burden of higher education but also provide an opportunity to achieve academic goals in Africa’s leading institution of higher learning.
The Wigwe University Merit Scholarship is also aimed at supporting students in an environment to thrive and make meaningful impacts as the next generation of fearless leaders.
Wigwe University Merit Scholarships Requirement:
To be considered for the Wigwe University Merit Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must have chosen Wigwe University Isiokpo as their first choice and must score a minimum of 170 in the UTME.
- Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB.
- Candidates whose O’Level results are being awaited are advised to upload same to JAMB as soon as the results are released.
- Candidates who fail to upload their Results to JAMB will not be considered.
- Candidates who did not choose Wigwe University as first choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB Website and effect a change of their institution of first choice to Wigwe University before the close of the Change of Institution application process on the JAMB Portal.
Document Requirment for Wigwe University Merit Scholarships:
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Application Form
- Academic transcript
- Letters of recommendation from higher authorities
- University’s student ID card
- Letter of Identification from LGA
- Medical certificate/HIV (Original)
- JAMB admission letter
- University’s admission letter
- Course registration form

- All selected candidates will be offered partial scholarships as tuition waivers to study at the Wigwe University.
