SieDi-Hub Youth Education Scholarship Program Details:
The SieDi-Hub Opportunity Youth Educational Scholarship is a need-based, full-ride scholarship initiative aimed at supporting Nigerian students
The SieDiHub Educational Scholarship is particularly for those from low-income and vulnerable backgrounds who have just gained admission or are in their first year of study at a tertiary institution but are at risk of dropping out due to life-altering circumstances.
Funded by generous anonymous donors committed to educational equity, this scholarship offers more than financial aid. It is a transformational program that equips scholars with leadership skills, real-world work experience, and mentorship opportunities that prepare them to be change-makers in their communities.
Each year, two students (one female and one male) are selected to receive up to ₦250,000 annually, covering tuition, compulsory school fees, and book support for the full duration of their studies.
Available Programmes for SieDiHub Opportunity Educational Scholarship:
For the 2025/26 academic session, the SieDiHub Opportunity Educational Scholarship will accept applications to accredited programs of Nigerian tertiary institutions.
SieDi-Hub Youth Education Scholarship Program Requirement:
To be eligible for the undergraduate SieDiHub Educational Scholarship Program, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Be aged 17 to 25 years
- Have just gained admission or are in their first year at a recognized Nigerian tertiary institution
- Be experiencing significant financial hardship or personal challenges (e.g., loss of a parent, displacement, family crisis, etc.)
- Be committed to volunteering and giving back to their communities
Recipients of the scholarship are expected to:
- Maintain academic excellence and submit annual academic progress reports
- Complete their studies within the expected time frame
- Volunteer with SieDi-Hub during semesters and holidays
- Participate in community outreach, mentoring, and other SieDi-Hub programs
- He/She must also meet the corresponding language proficiency requirements:
- Applicants’ general Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) should reach at least the new level 4 (new HSK certificate must be provided).
- At the same time, you should meet the language requirements for the teaching language specified by the institution and major you are applying for.
- Applicants must also meet the conditions specified by the institution and major you are applying for.
- You must not also be receiving other types of scholarships from the Chinese government at the same time.
Document Requirement for SieDi-Hub Youth Education Scholarship Program:
While applying for the SieDi-Hub Opportunity Youth Educational Scholarship, you will be required to submit the following documents;
- Complete Application Form
- Personal statement (1–2 pages, 1000–1500 words)
- Admission letter or proof of first-year enrollment
- Available academic records (WAEC, UTME results, etc.)
- Two reference contacts (teachers, mentors, religious/community leaders)
- Proof of hardship (e.g., death certificate, displacement record, medical report)
SieDi-Hub Youth Education Scholarship Program Rewards:
The fully funded SieDi-Hub Opportunity Youth Educational Scholarship covers;
- Full or partial tuition and compulsory school fees to ₦250,000 annually
- Book support for each academic session.
- Access to mentorship, career coaching, and leadership development
