Northwest University, Kano (NWU) has opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. Applications are now being accepted for candidates who chose NWU as their first choice and scored 150 or above in the 2025 UTME

Admission is through the UTME/DE, and only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be considered for admission.

• Copy of your O-level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or IGCSE)
• JAMB result slip (with at least 150 score)

Eligibility Requirements for NWU Post-UTME/DE Screening Form:

• Score at least 150 in the 2025 UTME
• Have five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, earned from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, with no more than two sittings.
• Score the required cut-off for their chosen course.

Direct Entry Requirements:

For those going through DE, the bar is set as follows:

• A valid 2025 Direct Entry registration slip.
• ND, LIMB, or NCE qualification.
• At least 3.0 CGPA for science courses and 3.5 for arts.
• Nine points in NCE.
• Seven points for science-based IJMB and eight points for arts or social sciences.

• Go to the NWU admission portal and click on “2025 Admission Portal”.
• Generate a NABROLL invoice from the portal.
• Pay the sum of ₦2,000 online or at any bank nationwide.
• Return to the portal to finish registration and print the acknowledgement slip.
• Keep the slip safe, as it must be presented with other documents during the screening.
