The AfroTech Girls offers scholarships, educational goals, and tuition fees for highly performing students to launch a bright future across Nigeria.
Are you a girl child who has an interest in tech and doesn’t have the finances to go through school and finish? Here is an opportunity for you as Afro-Tech Girls’ Project 100 for 50.
This Project 100 For 50 Scholarship aims to support 50 young women in STEM with a hundred thousand naira each across Nigeria.
AfroTech Girls Undergraduate Scholarship Requirement:
To be considered for the AfroTech Project 100 For 50 Scholarship, you must:
- Be a female student in a public/state university or polytechnic in Nigeria
- Be studying a STEM-related course
- Be currently residing in Nigeria
- Have a grade of 2:2 or above (or equivalent)
Document Requirement for AfroTech Girls Undergraduate Scholarship:
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Proof of admission to the tertiary institution
- Proof of ID
- Proof of Current Grade Class
- A written application detailing: your personal background, why you need the scholarship, and why you should be awarded the scholarship (must be between 300 and 450 words).
- Being a member of the Afro-Tech Girls community is an added advantage.
AfroTech Girls Undergraduate Scholarship Rewards:
- The Bode Amao Foundation Scholarship will provide full scholarships to selected candidates as well as an amount of N100,000 per year until graduation.
- The award is per beneficiary per academic session and is active throughout the course of study as long as the high acedemic execellence must be maintained.
