The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for full time appointment to fill existing vacancies in the following positions in the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps respectively.

This initiative by the Federal Government is part of its commitment to enhance national security, improve emergency response, and strengthen public safety across the country.

The recruitment seeks to employ 30,000 eligible candidates with SSCE, Diploma (ND), NCE, HND, and Bachelor’s Degrees (BSc) qualifications to fill various positions in General Duty, Inspectorate, and Assistant Cadres.

Interested applicants are encouraged to apply for only one of the four agencies, as multiple applications will lead to disqualification.

CDCFIB Statutory Requirements (for all Candidates):

  • Applicants must be Nigerians by birth.
  • Applicants must possess the requisite qualifications. Any certificate or qualification not presented and accepted at the recruitment center shall not be accepted after the recruitment.
  • Applicants must be PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY fit and present Certificate of Medical Fitness from any recognized Government Hospitals.
  • Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted.

How to Apply for CDCFIB Recruitment Exercise 2025:

To apply for the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recruitment, follow the steps below:

1. Visit the Official Application Portal

  • The portal opens on Thursday, 26th June 2025.

2. Select Your Preferred Agency

  • Choose only one of the four paramilitary services:
    • Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)
    • Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
    • Federal Fire Service (FFS)
    • Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

Note: Multiple applications across different agencies will lead to automatic disqualification.

3. Fill Out the Online Application Form

  • Provide accurate personal details (name, date of birth, contact information, etc.).
  • Enter your educational qualifications (SSCE, Diploma, NCE, HND, or BSc).
  • Upload scanned copies of required documents (certificates, medical fitness report, etc.).

4. Review and Submit

  • Double-check all entered information for errors.
  • Submit the application form and print the acknowledgment slip for reference.
