Job Details:

The Design & Deployment Manager leads the technical design, vendor governance, and end-to-end deployment of solar PV and hybrid renewable energy solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial segments. The role oversees deployment planning, capacity building, third-party vendor screening and on boarding, and ensures all systems are technically sound, cost-efficient, and compliant with regulatory and HSE standards. Managing the full project life cycle—from site assessment and system design to installation support—the Manager ensures safe, timely, and scalable renewable energy delivery aligned with AP Renewable’ growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct station load audits and technical feasibility assessments to support renewable energy deployment.
  • Lead the design and engineering of solar PV and hybrid systems, including system sizing, component selection, performance modelling, preparation of SLDs and BoQs, ensuring compliance with Nigerian standards, OEM guidelines, and HSE requirements.
  • Provide procurement and technical specification support, including vendor evaluation, OEM coordination, and recommendation of cost-efficient, reliable renewable solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, ITS, Inventory, and Project teams to support proposals, recommend suitable customer segments for AP Renewable, provide deployment guidance, and ensure timely material delivery.
  • Drive design governance and continuous improvement through standardised documentation, KPI monitoring, R&D support, and team leadership.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in solar PV and renewable energy engineering design, with strong exposure to C&I and residential solutions.
  • Proven experience in system sizing, hybrid integration, and battery energy storage design.
  • Experience preparing engineering deliverables such as BoQs, single-line diagrams, and detailed system layouts.
  • Strong experience with energy simulation and design tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, SketchUp, ETAP or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design projects concurrently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience supporting field teams during implementation and commissioning is a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to OEM platforms such as Huawei FusionSolar or similar is desirable.

Skills

  • Strong technical expertise in solar PV and hybrid system engineering

Officer, Planning and Performance Management:

Job Details:

The Planning & Performance Management Officer supports Ardova Plc’s financial planning and business performance processes by delivering timely management information, conducting financial analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role provides actionable insights to management, enabling data-driven decision-making, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth across business units.

Management Information Systems (MIS) & Reporting 

  • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports covering financial and operational performance. 
  • Maintain and enhance performance dashboards (revenue, margins, volumes, OPEX, CAPEX, KPIs). 
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data sourced from ERP and business systems. 
  • Support standardisation of reporting templates across business units. 

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting 

  • Support the annual budget and rolling forecast process, including coordination with business units. 
  • Consolidate OPEX, CAPEX, and revenue plans and perform variance analysis against actuals. 
  • Track budget utilisation and highlight risks, opportunities, and corrective actions. 
  • Assist in scenario analysis and sensitivity testing for management review. 

Management Accounting & Performance Analysis 

  • Perform variance analysis (actual vs budget vs forecast) and provide business-focused explanations. 
  • Analyse profitability by product, customer, channel, and business line
  • Support cost control initiatives through detailed cost analysis and efficiency tracking. 
  • Assist with internal performance scorecards and KPI definitions. 

Strategy & Business Support 

  • Support the Strategy team with financial analysis, business cases, and investment appraisals
  • Contribute to medium-term plans (e.g., 3-year strategic plans) and transformation initiatives. 
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support management decisions, including market, pricing, and volume analysis. 
  • Track strategic initiatives and monitor delivery against targets. 

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance 

  • Work closely with business unit finance leads, operations, and commercial teams. 
  • Support management presentations and board/EXCO packs. 
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and reporting timelines. 

Job Requirements:

Education

  • Minimum of a Second class lower degree  in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline 

Experience

  • 3–6 years’ experience in FP&A, performance management, management accounting, or MIS
  • Experience in energy, oil & gas, or FMCG is desirable. 

Professional Qualification

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA – in view or completed) is an advantage.

Skills

  • Strong financial analysis and management accounting skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar tools is an advantage

Project Manager:

Job Details:

The Project Manager – Operations & Maintenance leads the end-to-end management of installed solar PV and hybrid renewable energy assets across residential, commercial, and industrial segments. The role is responsible for ensuring optimal system performance, up time, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction through structured preventive and corrective maintenance frameworks. The Project Manager oversees maintenance planning, vendor and contractor management, SLA performance, budget control, and HSE compliance, ensuring reliable, cost-efficient operations aligned with AP Renewable’ operational excellence and growth objectives.

  • Lead the O&M strategy and execution for installed renewable energy systems, ensuring high asset uptime, SLA adherence, and optimal lifecycle performance.
  • Develop and manage maintenance plans, budgets, resource allocation, and performance trackers, monitoring KPIs such as system availability, response times, and fault resolution rates.
  • Supervise field teams, contractors, and service vendors, ensuring quality service delivery, technical compliance, and strict adherence to HSE standards.
  • Oversee system monitoring, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and major corrective interventions, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and minimal downtime.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement, managing customer communication, reporting performance insights, strengthening operational processes, and supporting scalable renewable asset management nationwide.

Job Requirements:

Education

  • Minimum of a Second class lower degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related discipline).

Professional Qualification

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification (Desirable).
  • Huawei Fusion Solar or other relevant OEM certification (Desirable).
  • MSc / MBA in Renewable Energy, Engineering, or Business (Desirable).
  • Other relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in renewable energy project delivery, with strong exposure to solar and hybrid energy systems. 
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects across different locations.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising field engineers, technicians, and contractors.
  • Experience in managing project budgets, cost optimisation, and resource planning.
  • Strong hands-on experience with residential and C&I solar deployments.
  • Familiarity with Huawei Fusion Solar platforms and similar monitoring/management tools is an advantage.
