Job Details:

  • We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Media Assistant to join our creative team. This role is perfect for a digital native who lives in the timeline—someone who can take raw footage and audio and polish it into professional, engaging content for various platforms.
  • You will support the end-to-end production process, with a heavy emphasis on video and audio editing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post-Production: Edit short-form and long-form video content (social media clips, interviews, ads) using industry-standard software.
  • Audio Engineering: Clean up raw audio, balance levels, remove background noise, and sync multi-track recordings for podcasts or video voiceovers.
  • Asset Management: Organize and archive media libraries, ensuring all project files, b-roll, and music assets are easily accessible.
  • Content Adaptation: Reformat single pieces of “hero” content into multiple snippets optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.
  • Quality Control: Review final exports for “glitches,” typos in graphics, and audio inconsistencies before delivery.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Fluency in English (C2) is a must!
  • Candidates with an American or British accent will be preferred.
  • Previous experience in cold calling, lead generation, or telemarketing is required.
  • Proven track record of successfully generating leads and converting prospects into clients.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to handle rejections and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Wired internet at/above 50 Mbps download speed and at/above 25 Mbps upload speed.
  • PC with the following parameters: i5 processor 8/9/10 generation, 8/16 GB RAM, 128/256 SSD, Windows 10 Pro.
  • Private and quiet place without any background noise.
  • Computer-savvy and a fast learner.
  • Proficiency with tools like CRM software, Google Sheets, and other productivity tools.
  • Excellent listening comprehension, grammar, and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.

Skills:

  • Technical Suite: Proficiency inAdobe Creative Cloud(Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects) orDaVinci Resolve.
  • Audio Logic: A strong ear for pacing, tone, and clarity; experience with EQ and compression is a major plus.
  • Visual Flair: Understanding of basic color correction and motion graphics (lower thirds, transitions).
  • Efficiency: Ability to work against tight deadlines without sacrificing the “vibe” or quality of the edit.
  • Communication: A “no ego” approach to feedback—you can take a critique and turn it into a better final product.

Preferred Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in a digital media environment or a strong portfolio of freelance work.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools (like Descript or Runway).
  • Basic knowledge of social media trends and platform-specific specs.

Salary
N200,000 per month.
