The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) invites applications from qualified candidates for its 78th Regular Course programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The programme is open to both male and female Nigerians across the country seeking admission into the NDA in Kaduna.

Admission Requirements
To apply for the NDA 77 Regular Course, candidates must:
- Be medically and physically fit with good moral character.
- Be single, without any legal obligation to support a child or dependents.
- Present a Certificate of Indigeneship from the state or local government.
- Be at least 17 years old and not more than 21 years old by August 2025.
- Have at least five O-level credits, including English and Mathematics, in GCE, WAEC, NECO, NBAIS, or NABTEB in not more than two sittings.
- Have passed UTME and met the national standard set by JAMB.
- Be at least 1.68 meters tall (male) or 1.65 meters tall (female).
- Knowledge of French, Arabic, or Mandarin is an advantage.

Screening Test Conditions
Only candidates who meet the admission criteria and have a UTME score of:
- 180 or above for Arts, Social Sciences, and Sciences.
- 210 or above for Engineering courses.
Those who qualify will be able to print their Screening Test Admission Card and take part in the screening test at their chosen centre.

Registration Date
The application will run from Friday, November 28, 2025, to April 30, 2026.
Training and Duration
Successful candidates will undergo military and academic training at the NDA for five years. Upon completion, cadets will earn a degree (BSc, BEng, or BA) and be commissioned into the Nigerian Armed Forces.
How to Apply for NDA Admission Application Form for 78th Regular Course
- Interested candidates are required to visit the application portal at www.ndaapplications.net to begin the registration.
- Select “Purchase Access Code” and enter details.
- Pay ₦7,000 via REMITA using the generated ORDER ID and RRR code.
- Complete the online application form.
Note: After generating payment RRR and completing payment via the portal or bank.
- Fill application – Enter valid bio-data and other required information.
- Confirmation – Verify all information is accurate before submission.
- Submit application – Attest and submit to complete the process.
- Download forms – After submission, download the acknowledgement form and parent consent form.
- Exam venue – Shortlisted candidates will select an examination venue on the portal.
What You Should Know
- Completed applications must be submitted online with scanned SSCE results. Once submitted, candidates should download the Acknowledgement Form.
- Applications without O-level results will be rejected.
- Awaiting results are not accepted.
- O-level results must not be older than five years.
- Admission is strictly for Nigerians (male and female).
