The Seplat Teachers Empowerment Program (STEP) is an annual joint training program organized by the NNPC Exploration and Production Limited (NEPL) and Seplat Energy.
The Seplat Teachers Empowerment Program (STEP) equips educators with critical thinking competencies, leadership capacity and technology-enabled instructional tools designed to improve learning outcomes.
To promote creative thinking, allow for higher student engagement, and offer a well-rounded education, Seplat has introduced the STEAM model of learning to secondary schools in Delta and Edo States; where Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) are equal contributors to the process of learning.

NNPC/Seplat Teachers Empowerment Programme (STEP) Requirement:
To be considered for the NNPC/SEPLAT Teachers Empowerment Programme 2026, you must:
- Be a Nigerian
- Be a secondary school teacher in Edo or Delta State.
Note: Teachers and CIEs who had graduated in the last editions should not apply.
