Job Details:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Intern (NYSC) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, financial record-keeping, and reporting while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recording and updating financial transactions in accounting software.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, and monthly statements.
- Maintain proper filing and organization of financial documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Provide support during audits and tax preparations.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Job Requirement:
- Current NYSC Corps Member seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) in Lagos.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
