OAU Post UTME Exam Format:

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Post UTME examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 40 questions to be completed within 1 hour. The questions will mainly focus on the subjects you have studied in your JAMB or related subjects, with some questions on Current Affairs as well.

How OAU Calculates Aggregate Score

Your total admission score is calculated using:

  1. O’Level Composite Percentage (e.g., A1 = 8 points, B2 = 7 points, etc)
  2. UTME Composite Percentage (Your JAMB score ÷ 8)
  3. Post UTME Composite Percentage (Your Post UTME score × 0.3)

Note: You must score at least 200 in the Post UTME to qualify for the composite score calculation.

OAU Departmental Aggregate Cut-Off Marks for All Courses

The minimum cut-off mark for Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) for the 2024/2025 academic year is 200. Candidates who score 200 or above can participate in the Post-UTME assessment. However, some courses may require higher JAMB scores for candidates to be eligible for admission. Below are the estimated cut-off marks for each OAU department.
