Job Details:
- We’re looking for an experienced English and Math Teacher to develop and deliver engaging online lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
- As an English and Math Teacher at Blass Online High School, you will create comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and educational resources that foster a love for learning in our students.
English Teacher Responsibilities
Develop and teach English curricula, including:
- Literature: Analyze and interpret literary texts, exploring themes, characters, and plot developments
- Composition: Teach writing skills, including essay writing, creative writing, and technical writing
- Grammar and Vocabulary: Develop and deliver lessons on grammar, vocabulary, and language usage
- Create engaging and interactive online content that promotes critical thinking and literary analysis
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
Math Teacher Responsibilities
Develop and teach math curricula, including:
- Algebra: Teach algebraic concepts, including equations, functions, and graphing
- Geometry: Explore geometric concepts, including points, lines, angles, and shapes
- Statistics and Probability: Develop and deliver lessons on statistical analysis and probability
- Create engaging and interactive online content that promotes problem-solving and critical thinking
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English, Math, Education, or a related fieldwith 2 – 5 years work experience.
- Proven experience teaching English and math
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and ages
- Strong knowledge of English and math concepts, theories, and pedagogy
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools.
