Scholarships provide essential financial aid for students in Nigeria institutions that have been accredited and approved by the NUC. These scholarships are awarded by the government, companies, philanthropists, and universities to help reduce the financial burden of tuition and living expenses for students pursuing academic goals.

The MTN Scholarship Scheme is one of the flagship programs of the MTN Foundation since 2010 and is open to eligible undergraduate students studying in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (colleges of education, polytechnics, and universities).

2. NNPC/Shell Scholarship
The Shell Petroleum Development Company in partnership with other oil companies (NNPC/SPDC /TEPNG/AGIP Joint Venture) invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian Students admitted into full-time academic studies. The NNPC/Shell scholarship is classified into two;
- National Merit Award (NM) – Open to all Nigerians.
- Areas of Operation Merit Award – Open to Nigerians who are indigenes of SPDC’s operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States.

3. Wole Ogunyemi Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship Program
The Wole Ogunyemi Foundation undergraduate scholarship program offers financial support to economically disadvantaged students in Nigerian universities. Selected awardees receive a cash prize of N100,000 to cover a range of educational expenses including tuition and fees, room and board.

AGBAMI medical and Engineering Professional Scholarships (AMEPS) is a Niger delta targeted, educationally oriented, scholarship program aimed at supporting the nation’s medical and engineering manpower pool.

9. Federation of Construction Industry (FOCI) Undergraduate Scholarships
The Federation of Construction Industry (FOCI) formerly known as the Federation of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors (FOBACEC) is the umbrella body for Construction Companies in Nigeria. 16. JIM Ovia Foundation Scholarship at Covenant University
The Jim Ovia Scholars Program was founded since 1998. It is fully funded by Mr. Jim Ovia to provide financial aid to outstanding Nigeria youths.
