  • Assist in developing models for research and other departments where necessary.
  • Send out morning news updates, price lists, and market reports.
  • Watch news events and updates for development and relay impactful news in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 0–1-year worth of experience in analytical-based roles or a track record of analytical-based personal projects.
  • Must possess a calm temperament with an ability to apply analytical methodologies to a myriad of situations despite emotional state.
  • Must possess an ability to accept constructive criticism and make improvements.
  • Must be a self-starter with an ability to take charge of their learning and development and assume ownership of projects to see them to completion.
  • Ideally with an analytical, statistical, or financial educational background (finance, economics, engineering, mathematics).
  • Proficiency with numbers and able to work with data.
  • Familiarity with basic Excel functions.
  • The ability to work within tight time frames and under pressure.
  • Must be courteous, respectful, and willing to learn

The ASUU Scholarship by the Academic Staff Union of Universities is a ₦200,000 financial support for indigent students of Nigerian universities.

To be considered for the ASUU Scholarship, you must:

  • be indigent.
  • be a registered student of a university with a recognized ASUU branch
  • have a good academic performance (CGPA of 3.0 and above).

ASUU Scholarship Scheme Requirement:

To be considered for the ASUU Scholarship, you must:

  • be indigent.
  • be a registered student of a university with a recognized ASUU branch
  • have a good academic performance (CGPA of 3.0 and above).

Document Requirment for ASUU Scholarship Scheme:

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

  • Application Form
  • An application letter, not more than two (2) pages which must include the following:
    • Name of candidate
    • Course and year of study
    • State of origin
    • Why you believe you are the most qualified for the award
  • The applicant’s letter must be accompanied by the following:
    • A photocopy of the candidate’s current identity card
    • A letter from the candidate’s current Head of Department including current information on the candidate’s CGPA for the preceding academic session
    • copy of the candidate’s registration form for the current semester
    • Two (2) current passport photographs.

ASUU Scholarship Scheme Rewards:

  • ₦200,000 will be awarded to 2 students from each university provided they are registered branches of the union.
  • This fund is to support applicant’s tuition, accommodation, and living stipends.

How to Apply for ASUU Scholarship Scheme:

To apply for the ASUU Scholarship Scheme, interested and qualified candidates should;

  • Gather all your required documents.
  • Proceed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) secretariat in your institution to submit them.
  • We recommend you submit these documents as soon as possible.
